About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Jobs for Humanity. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment and release of our applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Azure DevOps Server and other supportive technologies.
- Develop and support changes required for maintaining the application packages.
- Coordinate, design, and monitor build and release processes, improving efficiency and effectiveness of CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate build and release processes using various automating tools and scripting.
- Manage Azure VM infrastructure and resources in a cost-effective manner.
- Maintain Azure DevOps infrastructure and provide required support to development teams.
- Execute DevOps roadmap by adopting state-of-the-art tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to manage expectations and SLAs around build, development, and CI/CD infrastructure.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in CI/CD, creating build pipelines, automating deployment.
- Hands-on experience managing Azure VMs, resource groups, and their maintenance.
- Strong experience with source control management tools like TFS and knowledge of other software version control systems.
- Basic hands-on experience with C#.NET programming.
- Experience with build, release, and deployment on Microsoft technologies MS Build or NPM.
- Knowledge of package management tools - NuGet, ProJet, etc.
- Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of Windows Installer Technology like MSI, upgrades, and patching.
- Knowledge of creating CI/CD pipelines using both Classic UI editor and YAML scripting.
- Exposure to automating and integrating static scanning, OSS scanning, etc. for products using tools like Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience in open-source technologies like Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, Git, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of artifact management tools - Jfrog Artifactory.
- Basic knowledge of SonarQube, Veracode, Black Duck.
- Virtualization platforms/tools - Hyper-V/VMWare vCloud Director, etc.
