Senior Design Leader

This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team of design professionals and drive innovative solutions in the aerospace industry.

  2. A bachelor's degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering, combined with 20+ years of experience in the field.">
  3. Proven expertise in technical knowledge on different Airbus/OEM programs.">
  4. Familiarity with both metallic and composite design principles.">
  5. In-depth understanding of fuselage, wing, empennage, control surfaces, and structures.">
  6. Knowledge of Airbus methods and applicable procedures for respective applications.">
  7. Experience with aerospace stress activities.">
  8. Familiarity with various ATA chapters.">
  9. Ability to apply technical measures at each stage with metrics.">
  10. Proficiency in aerospace-related tools (softwares/PDMs etc.).">
  11. Familiarity with product design, plant engineering, repair activities, tool design, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing, MROs, aerospace systems ES, MSI, and other related fields.">
  12. Capacity to create detailed technical write-ups and effort estimations for technical proposals.
Responsibilities
  1. Clearly understand design regulatory requirements for the aero domain.">
  2. Demonstrate knowledge of FAR 21 G, FAR 21 J, and other supplementary type certifications and its requirements.">
  3. Understand DOA requirements under project specifications/TDS.">
  4. Ensure signatory delegation process (SDP) as per A1020/M1020 requirements.">
  5. Accountable for reviewing WPL recommendations/requests on DOA scope.">
  6. Accountable for reviewing independently nominee's necessary qualification before proposing them to HOE.">
  7. Accountable for ensuring deliverables of signatories meet design requirements.">
  8. Accountable for independent technical reviews and ensure applicable compliances.">
  9. Identify and provide required trainings and close monitoring of effectiveness during mentoring phase.">
  10. Review monthly data of all nominees/signatories as per audit/compliance requirements through logbooks, take appropriate actions on Non-Quality, Non-conformance, and KPI deviations as per A1020/M1020 requirements and report to HOE during internal meetings, Internal and External Audits.">
  11. Review safety occurrences reported from projects and recommend final review by HOE.">
  12. Co-ordinate with QA Department on process compliance/requirements.">
  13. Co-ordinate with WPLs to improve quality metrics.">
  14. Co-ordinate with PMO to collect logbooks maintain nominees/signatories data trackers.">
  15. Maintain list of nominees and signatories through CTPS record.">
  16. Support HOE at every stage in ensuring design organization requirements during technical audits, Technical proposals preparation, developing technical skills on new areas etc., etc.">
  17. Be proactive on Technical Initiatives (like CI, Digital initiatives etc.) & best practices.
