Cloud Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Automation Engineer to design, build, and optimize infrastructure automation solutions across cloud-based and hybrid environments.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation. They should also have strong experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and hands-on skills in VMware automation, Aria stack, OpenShift, Nutanix, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration:
    • Develop reusable and scalable IaC templates using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
    • Automate provisioning and configuration across public, private, and hybrid clouds.
    • Implement VMware automation using Aria stack and enable policy-as-code.
    • Manage OpenShift clusters to support containerized environments.
  • CI/CD Pipelines:
    • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
    • Integrate automated testing and quality checks for deployments.
    • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Cloud Platform Management:
    • Deploy and optimize infrastructure on VMware, OCI, and Google Cloud.
    • Enable multi-cloud and hybrid strategies with Kubernetes/Docker.
    • Automate solutions on Nutanix platforms and hyperscaler environments.
  • Monitoring & Optimization:
    • Implement monitoring, auto-scaling, and self-healing mechanisms.
    • Troubleshoot and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Collaboration & Documentation:
    • Work closely with DevOps, Operations, and Security teams.
    • Maintain detailed documentation and provide team mentorship.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
  • Expertise in VMware automation and Aria stack.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
  • Preferred certifications include Terraform Associate, OCI Certified Architect, Kubernetes Certified Administrator, VMware Certifications, and Nutanix Certifications.
