As a Senior Sourcing Manager - Fitness and Sports Accessories, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's vision by leading a team of merchandisers and helping them achieve sourcing targets and business objectives within expected timelines.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management: Foster a high-performing team of merchandisers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet and exceed sourcing targets and business goals.

Vendor Relationship Building: Develop and leverage strategic relationships with vendors, fostering a collaborative environment that drives mutual growth and success.

Negotiation and Cost Control: Negotiate pricing and manage costs effectively, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving continuous improvement.

Sourcing and Vendor Development: Source the right vendors for Fitness Accessories & Sporting Goods, considering factors such as missing skillsets, capacity, and category gaps. Develop vendors to ensure a smooth procurement process.

Collaboration and Decision-Making: Ensure that decision-making processes are informed by technical and functional knowledge of the category, driving alignment with the team's overall goals.

Working Process and Methodology: Define Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and establish working methodologies to ensure timely production follow-up, clear communication with suppliers for timely supply, and efficient sampling.

Continuous Improvement: Implement methods and procedures to drive continuous improvement, create efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance service.

Capacity Management: Share forecasts with vendors to ensure capacity planning, avoiding supply chain issues.

Key Performance Metrics and Benchmarks: Establish and track key performance metrics and benchmarks, including on-time delivery, competitive cost, efficient sampling, and quality.

Required Skills:

Years of experience: 8-12 years specifically in Sourcing Accessories.

Fitness Accessories & Sporting Goods: Brand background or direct experience with these manufacturers is essential.

Strong analytical, negotiation, contracting, and communication skills: A must-have for this role.

Ability to think strategically: Develop and implement sourcing and negotiation strategies to drive business growth and success.

Financial analysis and cost optimization: Ability to perform financial analysis of the cost of every product sourced.

Teamwork and stakeholder management: Excellent teamwork skills and proven ability to partner effectively with various stakeholders.

Travel and meeting vendors: Comfortable traveling and meeting vendors to ensure business relationship continuity and smooth supply chain maintenance.
