Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Visual Designer to join our team at Iron Asylum. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning graphics and visual content for our e-commerce platform.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong portfolio of digital design projects, preferably in e-commerce or digital marketing. You will work closely with our marketing team to ensure all visual elements align with our brand identity and meet the high standards required for competitive e-commerce spaces.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design Creation: Develop and implement original graphics for our social media and online storefronts, ensuring they align with our brand image and style.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent brand image and style across all visual elements, working closely with the marketing team to understand and apply brand guidelines diligently.
  • Project Management: Handle multiple design projects from concept through completion, managing timelines and coordinating with other team members to ensure timely delivery of graphics.
  • Feedback Integration: Interpret feedback from the marketing team and make adjustments to designs as required, utilizing minimal instructions to maximize output quality and efficiency.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest trends in graphic design and e-commerce marketing, regularly incorporating new ideas and technologies to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of graphic content.
  • Asset Management: Organize and maintain digital files, including photos, logos, and artwork, ensuring easy access and systematic archiving.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in e-commerce or digital marketing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital and e-commerce design projects.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and motion design tools like After Effects or Premiere Pro (preferred), familiarity with Canva, Figma, or similar tools an advantage.
  4. Design Knowledge: Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy, knowledge of UI/UX design an added advantage.
  5. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines, problem-solving mindset, and creativity under pressure.
  6. Additional: Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, including social media trends, ad creatives, and performance marketing, enthusiasm to learn and adapt to new tools, techniques, and design challenges.
Salary Range:

$90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
