Job Title: Senior Oracle EBS Finance Expert

 

Parexel is seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle EBS Finance Expert to join our team. As a key member of our finance operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our financial systems and processes.

About the Role:

As a Senior Oracle EBS Finance Expert, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with our finance teams to analyze and resolve day-to-day business issues raised through our ticketing system. You will also design and develop best practice business needs through technology solutions, interact with accounting, finance, and procurement teams to understand their requirements, and define new and refine existing business processes.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Analyzing and providing resolution to day-to-day business issues raised through our ticketing system.
  • Analyzing, designing, and/or developing best practice business needs through technology solutions.
  • Interacting with accounting, finance, and procurement teams to understand their requirements and defining new and refining existing business processes.
  • Participating in requirement gathering, aligning business requirements and best practices to implement technical solutions.
  • Creating systems documentation including unit test and solution designs.
  • Supporting quality assurance efforts (test planning and execution) for periodic releases and new systems implementations.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and development of internal processes.
  • Helping to accelerate adoption of the very best engineering practices while maintaining knowledge on industry innovations, trends, and practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field of study.
  • Minimum of 9-13 years' experience using Oracle EBS.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience working with Procurement, Fixed Assets, AP, General Ledger, or Oracle Projects Billing, costing, and Revenue cycle.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL/PLSQL.
  • Full lifecycle experience on OAF pages deployment.
  • Experience working on SOA, understanding of Web Services.
  • Experience working on Oracle EBS R12 Workflow, AME.
  • Good experience with Oracle APEX.
  • Good experience with XML Publisher Reports.
  • Good experience with OCI.
  • Must possess excellent financial and analytical skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Application Support.
  • Financial Services.
  • Experience with OAF.
  • Experience with SOA & Web Services.
  • Experience with Workflow and AME.
  • Experience working with PL/SQL.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
