Job Responsibilities & Duties

As a key member of our revenue management team at Sysotel, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic revenue initiatives to drive business growth and profitability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze daily sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to inform pricing and revenue decisions.
  • Develop and maintain a 12-month rolling demand calendar to inform pricing and revenue optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with hotel teams to create and execute pricing strategies, ensuring optimal room rates and revenue maximization.
  • Provide regular revenue forecasts, variance analysis, and budget comparisons to inform business decisions.
  • Manage third-party distribution channels to ensure optimal revenue capture.
  • Assess, analyze, and price group business strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Conduct monthly hotel performance reviews, providing actionable insights to improve long-term revenue strategies.
  • Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated, and operating at full capacity.
  • Oversee and audit the standards and operations of the reservations department to ensure optimal revenue capture.

  • Willingness to travel and ability to interact professionally with diverse cultures.
  • Mentality of client service and taking responsibility beyond direct duties.
  • High level of motivation, determination, and commitment.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on hotel revenue management experience.
  • Strong command of both written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or Economic Studies.
  • Highly computer literate with a high-level command of Excel.
  • Knowledge of hotel technology: PMS, Channel Manager, Extranets.
