You will work closely with our engineering teams to provide reliable and secure access to our lab resources, ensuring that our engineers have the tools they need to develop and test their software and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Systems Engineer who has a strong understanding of electronics, network switches and routers, embedded hardware, desktop and server hardware, interfaces, drives, NICs, cabling (power, serial, USB, network, video). You should have experience with IPMI, ipmitool, serial redirection, SOL, RS232, USB serial, IPMI over SSH, and be proficient in Linux. You should also have a strong understanding of network configuration in Linux and network routers via CLI, including VLANs, VLAN tagging, L3 routing, OSPF, LACP, LLDP, storm control, ARP, ACLs. Additionally, you should have experience with scripting and monitoring tools, such as curl, Python, Bash, expect, and be able to automate tedious tasks using these tools.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Electrical Engineering, or IT, and at least 6-10 years of relevant experience in embedded systems, lab infrastructure, and networking. You should have a strong networking background and be able to work with various networking interfaces, both copper and fiber systems. You should also be able to occasionally lift and install heavy servers, PDUs, and other lab infrastructure, and have a positive attitude and be eager to share findings and work well with others.

Security Clearance Requirements

Successful candidates must engage in a security clearance process in regard to their citizenship in order to perform fundamental job duties, as per applicable law. In particular, candidates with certain citizenship may not be able to perform such fundamental job duties. The security clearance process may take a significant amount of time to complete, and any offer of employment will be contingent on the candidate's legal ability to perform the fundamental job duties.
