International Sales Development Manager

The IRC Group seeks a seasoned professional to fill the role of International Sales Development Manager, focusing on driving growth through strategic sales efforts.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand business with existing customers and identify new opportunities.
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in target industries, leveraging expertise in freight forwarding services.
- Presentation and negotiation skills are essential for successful business development.
- Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales approaches.
- Provide regular sales performance updates and insights to management.
Requirements:
- Masters degree (MBA) or equivalent diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- A minimum of 7-14 years of experience in domestic and international freight forwarding industry, preferably within target sectors such as e-commerce, automotive OEMs & suppliers, engineering equipment, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals & chemicals.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of CRM systems and ability to effectively utilize them.
- A proven track record of achieving stretched targets and contributing to company-wide goals.
- Strong professional network and connections within target industries.
- Proactive participation in goal-setting processes and commitment to assigned targets.
- Thorough understanding of the current business model and potential future prospects.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
