Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at State Street. As a key member of our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), you will play a critical role in delivering data and insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement technical solutions to integrate various financial applications and systems.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, PM, application development, SQA, and infrastructure teams, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and ensure that deliverables meet the required standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying your knowledge to drive innovation and improve our services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer or IT-related field.
  • Proven experience in application development, maintenance, operations, and support with a strong Java skillset.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote and globally spread-out teams.
