Job Title: Digital Director – First Party Analytics, Mindshare, India Location: Mumbai


Overview of Job


As a Director – Analytics within the Mindshare Mumbai analytics team, you will be a key member of a new Center of Excellence being opened in India or a large multinational FMCG client.


This position is responsible for all First party integrated programmatic analytics across 8 countries - MY, VN, ID, HK, PH, TH, IN, SG.


You will be expected to:



  • Be the subject matter expert on 1st Party data, 1P and 3P driven campaign strategies
  • Able to draw audience insights involving 1P and 3P audiences
  • Analyze programmatic performance strategies and tactics utilizing cutting edge cloud tools and innovative analytics techniques that to create actionable insights.
  • Work with GroupM Mar-Tech talent to build a Center of Excellence to understand Audience types and build experimental approaches to segment, cluster and activate across 1P and 3P audiences.
  • Interaction and coordination between client, markets, publisher partners and cross functional teams
  • Set-up best practice on the ways of working.

Measures of success In three months:



  • Lead the 1P and 3P audience analysis, optimizations for ongoing media plans, build audience insights across the market cluster, and lead 1P strategies.
  • Build analytics dashboard jointly with GroupM reporting team and provide guidance for ongoing 1P vs 3P tactics and optimization decisions.
  • Client engagement and GroupM Martech collaboration on COE scope

In 6 months:


You have a good understanding of the drivers that are improving success outcomes but connecting the dots across Digital and programmatic analytics, Martech data segments and new clusters, 1P and 3P data enrichment.


Build confidence in 1P integration expertise delivery with client and internal stakeholders.


In 12 months:


You will be the lead for COE program management and delivery for Martech stack 1P data ingestion, audience segmentation and programmatic optimization decisions for the FMCG client across 8 countries - MY, VN, ID, HK, PH, TH, IN, SG.


Responsibilities of the role:



  • Manage and help grow analytics support across global FMCG client in 8 markets
  • Be the COE support for digital planning team programmatic team and GroupM Martech
  • Help define use cases based on 1P and 3P audiences and present to clients
  • Build expertise in 1P integration for programmatic campaigns
  • Supervise, train and mentor junior digital / programmatic analysts
  • Help articulate cloud data integration requirements and be part of solution architecture
  • Act as primary day-to-day contact for client on 1P audiences and help inform planning strategies
  • Manage project timelines and deliverable schedules and share concerns about deliverables, timelines, and issues with project managers and client leads

Experience looking for:



  • Min 5 years of experience in digital & programmatic planning / analysis
  • Good working knowledge of 1P data, audiences, datasources, attribution partners, data ingestion methods
  • Good understanding of programmatic trading platforms such as DV360, Trade Desk
  • Strong knowledge of Floodlights conversion pixels
  • Knowledge of mobile Attribution platforms like Appsflyer or Kocava is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations using statistical techniques
