Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Retail Expansion Specialist to join our team at The Retail Group Holdings.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to drive business growth and expansion in the global retail space design and architectural market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the retail and architectural sectors globally.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic business plans to enter new markets and expand our presence in existing markets.
  • Customer Relations: Initiate and nurture relationships with potential clients, including retailers, developers, and other stakeholders in the design and architecture industry.
  • Presentation Skills: Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients to secure new contracts and partnerships.
  • Client Management: Maintain strong relationships with major existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exploring opportunities for additional engagements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with operational teams to ensure that client requirements are accurately understood and incorporated into project proposals.
  • Marketing Materials: Collaborate with other team members to create promotional materials and campaigns that align with business development strategies, including things like the company website and social media platforms.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on progress and forecasts to upper management using key account metrics.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in business development or marketing, preferably in the design, architecture, or retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape and design market dynamics on a global scale.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Estimated Salary Range:

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
