Role: SAP MDG cFIN Lead Consultant

Timings: 2.00 pm - 11.00 pm IST shift

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Remote from Bangalore only

We seek an experienced SAP MDG Lead Consultant to play a key role in our SAP Central Finance (cFIN) implementation. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in SAP MDG, a solid understanding of Central Finance, and the ability to lead a team of consultants and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the SAP MDG implementation workstream as part of the Central Finance (cFIN) project, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and timelines.
  • Develop and validate the SAP MDG solution architecture, including data models, workflows, and governance processes, tailored to the specific requirements of the cFIN landscape.
  • Define and implement master data governance strategies, policies, and standards that align with the organization's objectives and support the cFIN environment.
  • Configure and customize SAP MDG data models for core financial objects such as cost centers, profit centers, general ledger accounts, and other financial master data.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve data governance and integration processes across the cFIN landscape.
  • Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate solutions, and manage expectations effectively.
  • Collaborate with other SAP workstreams (e.g., SAP FI/CO, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Central Finance) to ensure seamless integration of MDG processes and data flows.
  • Oversee and participate in system testing, data validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure a successful deployment.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and training materials.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP MDG implementation.
  • Proven track record of at least one end-to-end SAP Central Finance (cFIN) project.
Technical Expertise:
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) components and configurations.
  • Strong understanding of Central Finance concepts and integration points.
  • Proficiency in designing MDG workflows, rules, and data models.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to support EST time zones until 12.00 midnight.
  • Local presence in Bangalore for occasional meetings at the client office.
