Software Developer Senior I Role

Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Technical Lead to oversee the development and maintenance of our Web applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating stable applications, mentor junior developers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications, leading testing, deployment, and code quality initiatives.
  • Code Quality and Best Practices: Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines for clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, offering code reviews, architectural advice, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with different teams and product managers to translate business requirements into functional applications.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure web applications are stable and performant, addressing performance bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Integration: Integrate with external systems, third-party APIs, and cloud services as needed to deliver comprehensive features.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in existing applications and processes, suggesting and implementing enhancements.
  • Agile Development: Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, providing accurate time estimates for tasks.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience in web application development.
  • Frameworks: Proficiency with Java programming language and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
  • Technical Expertise: Java, Maven, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, any Database system (preferably Oracle).
  • Experience with Swagger / Postman.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven track record of troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues in web applications.
  • Version Control: Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions).
  • API Integration: Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, networking, and integration with other systems.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development environment.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change within a team.

Salary Estimate: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum (inclusive of various benefits and allowances). This estimate is based on national averages and may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
