Senior Financial Director

The Senior Financial Director will be responsible for overseeing the entire financial function of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and effective cash flow management. This role requires a qualified Chartered Accountant with proven experience in managing end-to-end finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Planning & Strategy
  • Develop and implement financial plans to optimize cost, improve margins, and enhance profitability.
  • Monitor financial performance against business goals and provide insights for decision-making.
  1. Accounting & Reporting
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and oversee accounting team performance.
  1. Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC filings, and other statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with statutory, internal, and tax auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
  1. Treasury Management
  • Manage cash flows, banking operations, and fund utilization efficiently.
  • Oversee working capital management, credit control, and debtor management.
  1. Cost Control & MIS
  • Implement effective cost accounting systems and monitor production-related costs.
  • Develop and present periodic MIS reports to management for financial performance tracking.
  1. Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring skill development and high performance.
  • Establish strong internal controls and processes across the department.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Experience: 8 - 15 year's post CA qualification experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, statutory compliance, cost control, and treasury management.
  • Proven track record in handling audits, liaising with banks, and managing working capital.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
