Senior Technical Manager Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead our Site Reliability Engineering team, ensuring operational excellence and fostering a high-performing team culture.

This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, providing technical mentorship, and aligning team efforts with our company goals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a remote team of Site Reliability Engineers, focusing on incident management, technical support, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing business impact.
  • Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs, driving continuous improvement in operational processes and tools.
Qualifications:
  • 6+ Years of experience managing technical teams, preferably in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical background in cloud computing and infrastructure management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS certification.
  • Experience leading customer-facing technical teams.
