Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software applications using Java technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications and designs
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, identifying and resolving technical problems and performance bottlenecks
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Java development and apply them to improve existing software solutions
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and promoting professional growth
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and refine software requirements and continuously improve development
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software applications
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language (preferably Java 11) and Spring framework
  • Expertise in developing web applications using Java-based technologies (JSP, Servlets, etc.) and web services (REST, SOAP)
  • Sound knowledge of database concepts and experience working with SQL and ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA)
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and preferably JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, etc.)
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, etc.)
  • Experience working with JUnit testing framework
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • You have demonstrated the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services
  • Knowledge of micro services architecture and containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
