Job Description:

The role of a Business Development Associate in IDFC FIRST Bank revolves around managing client portfolios to ensure exceptional service delivery, leading to successful cross-selling initiatives. This includes building up CASA values as per branch targets, increasing product holdings per customer through the sale of various banking products, acquiring new clients, and handling walk-in customers. The responsibilities encompass managing cash and routine transactions for bank customers, including fund transfers, deposit and withdrawal acceptance, and ensuring timely deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
1. CASA value build-up and new client acquisition
2. Effective client engagement leading to cross-selling opportunities
3. Increase in 'Product holding per customer' within assigned portfolios
4. Profiling clients and presenting them with suitable banking products
5. Solution-oriented approach to onboarding clients for Mobile/Net Banking, Bill Pay, SIP, Insurance & Investment solutions, Retail and SME Loans, and relevant banking programs
6. Meeting monthly operating plans to improve scorecards and decile rankings
7. Coordinating with relationship managers for business loan closures, working capital, POS, CMS, trade transactions generated through client engagement
8. Ensuring quick resolution of customer queries and complaints to achieve NPS benchmarks
9. Management of the branch vault, including cash and non-cash transactions
10. Maintaining accurate records and reviewing branch reports like EOD cash position reports, instruments issued, and suspense accounts
