Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Migration Program Lead to lead our critical Platform & Application Modernization program. This role is pivotal in driving the successful migration & modernization of Vodafone Business's external customers from on-premises to AWS, ensuring seamless operations and enhanced customer experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive program roadmap, including detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the migration of the entire business environment from customer's on-premises Data centre to AWS.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement effective change management strategies to minimize disruption to business operations.
  • Possess a strong understanding of technology landscapes, including on-premises infrastructure and cloud technologies (AWS).
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define migration strategies, architecture, and standards.
  • Ensure alignment between technical requirements and business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.
  • Effectively communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Resolve conflicts and build consensus among stakeholders.
  • Utilize project management methodologies (PMP) and Agile frameworks to drive program execution.
  • Employ project management tools such as Jira and MS Project to track progress, manage resources, and report on key metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance processes and standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in program management with a minimum of 5 years in cloud migration program management.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale, complex IT programs, in multi domain industry.
  • Good understanding of application modernization concepts, including migration strategies and cloud technologies (AWS).
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with PMP and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • PMP certification preferred.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

Location: Various countries, with a focus on Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, and the UK.
