We are seeking an experienced sales professional to drive business growth and client acquisition in the solar energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop sales strategies for solar projects aligned with company objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential leads and opportunities.
  • Nurture relationships with key decision-makers across government, commercial, and industrial sectors.
  • Deliver impactful presentations explaining solar energy solutions.
  • Assist in preparing accurate technical and financial proposals.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define project scope and cost estimates.
  • SUPPORT contract negotiations and finalize agreements with clients.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and post-sales support.
  • Address client queries and resolve project-related issues.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling additional services.
  • Coordinate project delivery with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Track project progress against timelines and budgets while aligning with client expectations.
  • Analyse performance of completed projects and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions.
  • Provide periodic sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Head.
  • Analyse sales data to inform future strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Education: Any Graduate / BE / B.Tech (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of total experience with at least 2–3 years in solar/renewable energy project sales.
  • Proven track record of executing successful solar projects of at least 500 kW (rooftop or ground-mounted).
  • Candidates from open access projects, channel sales, or inside sales will not be considered.
Skills Required:
  • Strong knowledge of solar energy products and systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales reporting software.
  • Ability to interpret technical data and present clear solutions to clients.
