As a Senior Consultant SAP FICO S4 HANA at Thomson Reuters, you will be part of a team that helps clients navigate the complexities of financial management. About the Role
  • Design and implement cutting-edge financial solutions using SAP FICO and S4 HANA technologies.
  • Leverage your expertise in financial management to provide strategic guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver comprehensive solutions that meet client needs.
  • Analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions that drive business value.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the creation and presentation of estimates for overall cost, skill, effort, and timeline for new and existing solutions and projects from a functional perspective.
  • Demonstrating solutions to internal stakeholders and clients from C-level to end-user with a focus on Financial and Controlling.
  • Designing, configuring, and implementing technical solution architecture in the areas of SAP FICO- GL, AP, AR, FA, CO-CCA, CO-PC, CO-PA, and integration with SD and MM.
  • Facilitating discovery sessions, design workshops (Explore), assessments, planning sessions for projects.
  • Advising customers in their SAP transformation, using SAP Best Practices, standard out-of-the-box S4 HANA functionalities instead of custom-code.
  • Understanding trends and new developments in respective fields, specifically in S4 HANA and Cloud products.
  • Developing Finance Collateral and thought leadership content focused on SAP.
  • Actively working with Internal teams to develop pipeline for Finance service/solutions offerings within the Organization.
  • Leading & Delivering.
About You
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Specialized in SAP FICO including integration with MM, SD, HR, TM, PP, PS, PM, and QM. Strong Solution Engineering Skills - Ability to define complex business problems, convert into solutions, and fit into the overall finance system architecture.
  • Domain expertise across multiple FICO modules, including Multi-ledger GL / AR / AP / Fixed Assets / Product Costing / Integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Certified Accountant (CA/ICWA/CPA//CFA or equivalent) / MBA (Finance)
  • SAP certification in FI or CO is desirable.
