Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join the UK India Business Council as a Strategic Partnership Development Manager for India Markets. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing strategies to drive growth and partnerships in the Indian market.

Job Description
  • Represent the UK India Business Council and drive strategic partnership development in India.
  • Broaden and deepen existing relationships with government agencies, funding organizations, and other influential stakeholders in the Indian higher education sector.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the Indian Higher Education landscape and identify opportunities for collaboration and growth.
  • Foster strong connections with academic and professional service colleagues at Cardiff University.
Requirements
  • Cultural sensitivity, tact, and diplomacy to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior academics and partners.
  • Possess strong influencing skills to negotiate agreements and secure commitments.
  • Able to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience of living or studying overseas and understanding of different cultures is desirable.
