Position Name:
Professor-Faculty of Agriculture Science(AGRONOMY/HORTICULTURE)

Job Description:
The Professor is responsible for program planning, assessment, and development of programs and services at all levels of the Department. He/she manages, hires, and develops faculty to achieve institutional goals. The Professor drives excellence in teaching and learning through pedagogical innovations and solutions incorporating new technology, online, and blended options. Close collaboration with colleagues at the school's leadership level and with program managers, faculty development, and faculty ensures success.

Responsibilities include student satisfaction and ensuring that students achieve identified learning outcomes. A leader and team player with strong problem-solving and communication skills, he/she has comfort working in an entrepreneurial environment with a start-up mentality. Good knowledge of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC, NBA is essential.

Qualification & Experience:
* Ph.D. degree in Agriculture with good academic record and evidence of published work and research guidance
* 15 years of experience as Professor with a total experience of teaching/research/administration in a University/College of Agriculture
* Experience qualifications per UGC/ICAR requirements
* Demonstrated leadership skills and impact in an academic setting
* Entrepreneurial experience and comfort working with a start-up mentality
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and fluency in spoken and written English
* Ability to work with multicultural teams and in an international environment

Salary:
$80,000 - $100,000 per annum depending on experience
