Executive Chef

Job Summary:
The Executive Chef is responsible for the efficient and profitable functioning of the kitchen assigned. This includes ensuring that Mercure's standards are applied to the production of food and the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the highest standards of food quality and presentation are maintained.
- Manage the kitchen team to ensure the proper use of equipment and efficient completion of all tasks.
- Monitor the operations of the assigned function to ensure that food wastage is minimized.
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to the recipe and to the correct quantity.
- Coordinate operations with Department Associates, Executives, and other Departmental Managers to ensure operational readiness, efficiency in resource utilization, and the prompt delivery of services.
Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or any other equivalent qualifications.
