About this Role

This position plays a key role in System Engineering of Broadband devices. The successful candidate will work on the complete product development life cycle, from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities

As an architect, you will take part in architectural discussions and workshops to define the architecture of new components and architectural changes to the existing software stack for RDK-B based networking devices. You will work with development teams to resolve architectural issues and provide technical support for the open source community of RDK on architectural issues. You will also work with development teams to ensure that architectural decisions are implemented and propose innovative ideas and value adds to existing solutions.

Requirements

We are looking for an Engineering graduate with 5+ years of experience in Embedded systems/applications. You should be strong in C, C++ programming and have good experience in developing embedded applications. You must have worked in RDK-B based router or networking devices and have Linux exposure with GDB debugging skills. You must also have knowledge in Linux based build systems and exposure to device management protocols like SNMP/TR69/TR369 etc. You should also have exposure to Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi mesh protocols and have worked in any networking protocols. Having Prpl/OpenWRT experience and exposure to hardware bring-up and device driver implementation is an added advantage. You should be very good in Verbal & Written Communication.

Preferred Skills

Jira, Git/GitHub, Coverity, Valgrind tools, Experience of working in Media and Communication/Broadcast business domain, Certification in Architecture/Networking/WiFi area is plus for architect level opportunities.
