Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Network Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Sr. Network Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for driving testing and sustenance of various Network Functions and/or platform for our Mobile Packet Core (EPC and 5GC). You'll lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • 4G EPC Testing: Develop, execute, and validate test plans for 4G EPC components including Serving Gateways (SGW), Packet Gateways (PGW), Mobility Management Entity (MME), and Home Subscriber Server (HSS).
  • 5G Core Testing: Design and implement test plans for 5G Core network functions, including Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF), Session Management Function (SMF), User Plane Function (UPF).
  • Protocol Validation: Test and validate protocols used in 4G and 5G networks, such as GTP, SCTP, and HTTP/2.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct performance tests for both 4G and 5G core networks. Measure metrics such as throughput, latency, and scalability.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for both 4G and 5G core testing.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify, document, and track defects and performance issues.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of 4G EPC components and protocols.
  • Strong understanding of 5G Core functions and protocols.
  • Experience with network simulators/emulators and traffic generation tools.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
