Job Description

As a seasoned Messaging Expert, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, monitor, and maintain critical messaging infrastructure.

You will be responsible for leading technical calls and driving root cause resolution. You will also lead complex initiatives and issues within the messaging functional technical area as well as cross-functional areas.

Your tasks will include:

  • Lead complex initiatives and issues within the messaging functional technical area as well as cross-functional areas.
  • Work closely with the application development organization and other IT areas to determine best practices, tuning, problem resolution, and root cause analysis in the messaging space.
  • Deploy, upgrade, and manage infrastructures for the messaging environment.
  • Provide technical consulting on the use and integration of messaging system utilities, tools, and applications.
  • Automation.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years administering and architecture of messaging environments, including deployment, upgrades, configurations, setup, performance tuning.
  • Strong messaging troubleshooting skills are a must with the ability to drive to root cause.
  • Experience with messaging appliances.
  • Understanding network topologies, common network protocols, and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP) and experience with configuring network interfaces.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
