Encora Inc. is seeking a seasoned Data Science Leadership Role in Digital Engineering to lead our team of data scientists and engineers in developing and deploying advanced data science models and algorithms.
Job Summary:
- We are looking for a highly experienced data scientist with 10+ years of experience in leading teams and delivering high-quality results.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and big data technologies, with experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data services.
- This role requires excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A competitive salary of $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location, will be provided to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and engineers to develop and deploy advanced data science models and algorithms.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Evaluate and implement new tools, techniques, and technologies to enhance our data science capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of developing and deploying advanced models.
- Experience with Databricks, Python, PySpark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Hadoop, Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL query writing and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modelling. Machine learning algorithms (supervised/unsupervised/deep learning). Model evaluations & validation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data services.
