Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Channel Sales Manager to join our team at Tata AIG. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of producers, ensuring a strong pipeline, and coaching and guiding agents to cross-sell and grow their business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily activity of producers to ensure a strong pipeline.
  • Coach and guide agents to cross-sell and grow their business.
  • Ensure individual agents grow by at least 20% Year On Year.
  • Ensure IRDA compliance regarding licensing and commission payments to agents.
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of applications.
  • Support and guide the producer in all activities related to policy services.
  • Recruit and appoint agents for Gen Ins business.
  • Train agents on products, process, and USP's of Co.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
  • Recruitment:
    • Identify individuals who can dedicate time to motor insurance business.
    • Attempt to compete with motor agents to associate with us.
    • Input activities: name gathering activities, career orientation programs with Tata AIG, quarterly contests, educational programs, etc.
  • Activaisations:
    • Engage in daily activities for producers.
    • Weekly and monthly development sessions for producers.
    • Floating contests and club conventions on a monthly and weekly basis to producers.
    • Sales support: endorsement, form filling, portal training, and other operational activities.
    • Monthly, quarterly, and yearly goal settings with producers.
Stakeholder Interfaces
  • Internal Stakeholders:
    • CSM - for business sourcing.
    • ZSM - for approvals.
    • HR Team - for recruitments and incentives.
    • Operations Team - for policy binding, cheque receipts.
    • IT Team - for IT and server-related issues.
  • External Stakeholders:
    • Agents - regarding new tie-ups and regular visits.
Experience

1-2 years of experience in any General Insurance company.

Education

Graduate from any discipline with prior experience.
