Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing product strategies to drive business growth. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative merchandise lines that appeal to various demographics.

This role involves analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and product performance to inform strategic decisions. The successful candidate will also manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, monitor and report on product sales and revenue performance.

In addition, they will develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance product displays and promotional activities. This includes creating comprehensive product development calendars and proposing improvements to retail outlet performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in category management, product development, buying, and merchandising, or a related field within retail or the entertainment/amusement industry.
  • Proven track record of managing merchandise collections, preferably in the apparel or branded goods sector.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative design, and supply chain.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and forecasting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess product performance, profitability, and market demand.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and visual merchandising strategies.
