Job Summary:

The Business Intelligence Systems Manager will oversee and support the organization's information systems, ensuring accurate and timely data collection, processing, and analysis to inform decision-making. This role involves generating regular and ad-hoc reports, managing databases, and providing data insights to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain data from various departments or sources. Manage and update databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Report Generation: Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports as per organizational requirements. Generate ad-hoc reports based on management or departmental needs. Present data insights and dashboards to facilitate decision-making.
  • System Management: Maintain and optimize MIS software and tools. Troubleshoot system-related issues and ensure minimal downtime. Collaborate with IT teams for system upgrades or technical support.
  • Analysis and Insights: Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to management. Identify process inefficiencies and suggest data-driven improvements.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for all processes, reports, and systems. Ensure compliance with data security policies and confidentiality agreements.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with various departments to understand reporting needs. Train team members or other stakeholders in using MIS tools effectively.
  • Key Performance Metrics: Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Identify anomalies or discrepancies in data and rectify them promptly.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with MIS software and database management tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and time management abilities.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Certifications in data analysis or MIS tools (preferred).

Work Experience:

1-4 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in handling large datasets and report generation is an advantage.

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
