Sales Development Representative

Job Summary
Virtusa is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for executing outreach and outbound campaigns, understanding customer needs, and routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute outreach and outbound campaigns to identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales leads for further development and closure
- Meet or exceed sales targets as set out by the business
Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven experience in sales development and lead generation
- Strong problem identification and objections resolution skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team with high-level of integrity and work ethics
Preferred Qualifications
- APAC calling experience
- Knowledge and experience on selling IT services to verticals like Healthcare, Life science, Insurance, Telco, Media, Hi-Tech, BFS, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.
- Working experience with CRM and research tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo...
