Vodafone Idea Limited, a leading telecom service provider in India, is seeking a Territory Expansion Manager to join its Sales team in Bengaluru. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for managing Channel Partners, expanding distribution, and strengthening trade relationships within your defined market geography.

With a strong focus on sales performance, you will be accountable for delivering revenue and sales targets, appointing and managing Channel Partners, ensuring distributor capabilities, and expanding town coverage and distribution outlets. Your role will also involve visiting markets and distributors to strengthen market execution and trade relationships.

To succeed in this role, you should have 2-4 years of experience in the Telco or FMCG industry, with a proven track record of effective distributor management, team motivation, and conflict resolution. You should also be self-driven, able to operate with minimal guidance, and have strong technical and professional qualifications, including a graduate degree and proficiency in English and local market languages.

Estimated Salary: ₹20-25 lakhs per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Purpose:

  • Manage Channel Partners to effectively service retailers, expand distribution, and strengthen trade relationships.
  • Deliver revenue and sales targets.
  • Appoint and manage Channel Partners in defined market geography.
  • Ensure distributor capabilities, infrastructure, investment, and involvement.
  • Expand town coverage and distribution outlets to build extraction intensity.
  • Visit markets and distributors to strengthen market execution and trade relationships.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Telco/FMCG.
  • Effective Distributor Management.
  • Motivate team and build capability.
  • Skilled in conflict management.
  • Self-driven, can operate with minimal guidance.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Graduate, MBA preferred.
  • English & local market language.
  • Can interpret and construct performance reports.
