Job Title: Solar EPC Project Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our solar EPC project team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar engineering, with significant experience in design review and approvals.

About the Role:

The Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing the review, validation, and approval of engineering designs and drawings prepared by external consultants for ground-mounted solar EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Review & Validation
  • Review and validate drawings, designs, and engineering documents submitted by consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate designs for constructability, safety, and long-term performance.
  • Verify PVsyst reports and energy yield assessments.
  1. Approval & Coordination
  • Provide timely technical approvals of consultant deliverables.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and statutory bodies for design clarifications and approvals.
  1. Project Execution Support
  • Guide project teams on design-related queries.
  • Monitor implementation to ensure adherence to approved designs.
  1. Optimization & Risk Mitigation
  • Identify design gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in consultant submissions.
  • Recommend value-engineering measures to optimize costs without compromising quality.
  1. Leadership & Teamwork
  • Lead internal engineering review meetings.
  • Mentor junior engineers in design review processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Power/Renewable Energy or M.Tech.
  • 10–15 years of experience in solar EPC projects, with significant exposure to design review and approvals.
  • Strong knowledge of PV system design and grid connectivity.
  • Hands-on experience with PVsyst, AutoCAD, and electrical design software.

  • Strong design review and quality-checking ability.
  • Deep understanding of solar PV engineering standards.
  • Excellent coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
