Job Title: Senior Cloud Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design and development of cloud solutions for our company, CJ DARCL LOGISTICS LIMITED. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting and deploying scalable, high-performance cloud infrastructure using microservices and domain-driven design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure.
  • Provide architectural guidance across cloud platforms, ensuring robust and secure solutions.
  • Architect and deploy cloud solutions using GCP, AWS, and Azure, and manage data pipelines with Kafka and search solutions with Elasticsearch.
  • Lead backend development projects using Java, Kotlin, and Angular, and ensure the implementation of best practices in API integrations with 3rd party applications and SAP.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using DevOps practices, and work with tools such as GIT, Cloud Build, and Kubernetes to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes.
  • Oversee database architecture and management, particularly with MongoDB and other relational and NoSQL databases, and ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of database systems.
  • Implement and maintain observability tools such as Grafana and Stackdriver for monitoring and performance tuning, and ensure systems are highly available and performance is optimized.
  • Design and enforce security best practices across all systems and applications, and ensure compliance with relevant security standards and frameworks.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, providing technical direction and mentorship, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    • Extensive experience as a Technical Architect with expertise in GCP, AWS, and Azure.
    • Proficiency in GKE, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Java, Kotlin, and Angular.
    • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and domain-driven design.
    • Experience with API integrations, particularly with SAP and 3rd party applications.
    • Deep understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
    • Strong grasp of security best practices in architecture and development.
    • Proven leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with React.js, Redux, and other front-end technologies.
  • Familiarity with additional cloud-native tools and technologies.
  • Certification in cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
