Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with expertise in PHP and Python programming languages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and high-performance backend solutions using PHP and Python.
  • Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Take ownership of backend development projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Implement and maintain database structures, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
  • Contribute to the selection and adoption of appropriate technologies and tools.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate in an Agile development environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of professional experience in backend development.
  • Proficient in PHP and Python programming languages.
  • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP and Python.
  • Experience with PHP REST frameworks, preferably Yii.
  • Database expertise in PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git or Bitbucket.
  • Solid understanding of backend architecture and design principles.
  • Experience in handling Linux servers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with other PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, Yii).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
