Job Title: Principal Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to lead our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ForgeRock Identity and Access Management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CIAM Platform Expertise: You will be well-versed in CIAM platform architecture and will lead our CIAM team on architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Design and Implementation: You will design, develop, and implement ForgeRock Identity and Access Management solutions based on business requirements.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define IAM policies, and design authentication and authorization workflows. You will also document design decisions, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure comprehensive system documentation.
  • Integration and Development: You will integrate ForgeRock solutions with various applications and systems, ensuring seamless authentication and authorization processes. You will also develop and maintain custom scripts and connectors for ForgeRock products.

Requirements:

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: You will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Identity and Access Management Expertise: You will have a strong understanding of Identity Access Management concepts, protocols, and standards.
  • Modern Authentication Mechanisms: You will be familiar with modern authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as multifactor authentication, single sign-on, and identity federation (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, LDAP, and AD).
  • Communication and Collaboration: You will have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Certification and Experience: Certification in ForgeRock Identity Platform (ForgeRock Certified Identity Management Professional, ForgeRock Certified Access Management Professional) is preferred. You will also have proficiency in Java programming language with experience in Java 8, Spring Boot, microservices.
  • Experience with Webservices and Integration Technologies: You will have experience with webservices (RESTful APIs, SOAP) and integration technologies (JSON, XML).
  • Cloud Experience: You will have experience working in AWS Cloud environment, especially on EKS, ECS, etc.
