Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team at RapidCanvas. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure to support the growth of our business.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a strong background in cloud computing, DevOps, and system administration. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure solutions using modern cloud technologies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions using Terraform, Kubernetes, and other DevOps tools to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Cloud Platform Management: Manage and troubleshoot cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud providers, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines, automate processes, and improve system reliability.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance and reliability, applying SRE principles to ensure uptime and service quality, and troubleshoot issues promptly.
  • Security Best Practices: Implement security best practices for infrastructure and application deployment, including access controls, encryption, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document processes, architectures, and systems for operational excellence and share knowledge with the team to ensure smooth handovers.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in cloud computing, DevOps, system administration, and containerization.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
  • Key Skills:- Container Orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.- CI/CD via GitHub Actions.- Experience with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.- Understanding of networking principles, firewalls, and security protocols.- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
