Job Description

This is a full-time, remote-based role for a Regulatory Affairs Human Resources Specialist at OMC Medical Limited. The specialist will be responsible for assisting in HR management, developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee benefits, and personnel management tasks.

The specialist will work closely with the Regulatory Affairs team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while supporting recruitment, employee relations, and organizational development efforts in the department.

This role is ideal for someone with a graduate degree in Human Resources and a keen interest in regulatory affairs. The role will provide hands-on experience in various HR functions within a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Regulatory Affairs team to recruit top talent for regulatory roles, including reviewing qualifications and ensuring compliance with industry-specific standards.
  • Manage onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring that all documentation meets the regulatory requirements for medical devices.
  • Serve as the point of contact between the HR and Regulatory Affairs departments, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and assist in ensuring employees in the Regulatory Affairs department are trained in compliance standards.
  • Support in developing and updating job descriptions and employee qualifications in line with regulatory changes.
  • Assist in the performance management process for the Regulatory Affairs team, providing guidance on HR best practices.
  • Promote a positive and compliant work environment, ensuring adherence to both company policies and medical device regulations.
  • Conduct employee relations activities, resolving any HR issues within the Regulatory Affairs team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Prior experience in HR, ideally within a regulated industry (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory affairs in the medical device sector is advantageous.
  • Excellent English communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Base knowledge of industry regulations such as MDR (Medical Device Regulation) or IVDR (In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation) is preferred.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
