About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Windows Infrastructure Engineer to join our internal IT team at HyrEzy Talent Solutions. In this senior role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Windows-based infrastructure, including Azure environments, Active Directory, and email clients. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our IT systems, supporting the institution's academic and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows servers and workstations, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Administer and manage Azure environments, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and other cloud-based services to support the institution's IT infrastructure needs.
• Oversee the management and support of email clients and services, ensuring reliable email communication for faculty, staff, and students.
• Implement and maintain security measures, including patch management, antivirus deployment, and system hardening to protect against threats and ensure compliance with institutional policies and industry standards.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and optimizations to enhance the performance, security, and scalability of the Windows infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience as a Windows Engineer or in a similar role with a strong focus on managing Windows environments, Azure, Active Directory, and email systems, preferably in an educational or similar environment.
• Extensive experience with Windows Server, Azure administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell scripting, and email clients such as Microsoft Exchange or Office 365.
• Proven experience managing and optimizing cloud environments, particularly Azure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security configurations.
• Strong understanding of security best practices for Windows systems and cloud environments, including patch management, access controls, and system hardening.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or similar are highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
