Senior Semiconductor Facilities Architect

The Senior Semiconductor Facilities Architect is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing all architectural aspects of our OSAT construction project. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and compliant architectural solutions tailored to semiconductor facility needs.
We are seeking an experienced architect with 15–20 years of experience in various building architectural design projects, particularly in large-scale industrial, commercial, or high-tech facilities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and managing projects with cleanroom, utility, or specialized industrial facility requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Architectural Design and Development:
- Lead the architectural design process for the OSAT project, ensuring alignment with client goals, technical requirements, and operational objectives.
- Develop design concepts and detailed plans for various project components, including cleanrooms, office spaces, utility buildings, and ancillary facilities.
- Oversee the preparation of architectural drawings, layouts, and specifications, ensuring they meet industry standards and local building codes.
- Coordination and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure the architectural design aligns with structural, MEP, and construction requirements.
- Coordinate design efforts with other disciplines, resolving design conflicts and ensuring smooth project execution.
- Work closely with cleanroom and MEP specialists to address unique requirements for semiconductor manufacturing environments.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and project-specific standards, including sustainability and energy efficiency requirements.
- Review and approve architectural plans, specifications, and submittals to maintain quality and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress and ensure the construction adheres to approved designs.
- Project Management and Leadership:
- Manage architectural deliverables, schedules, and resources, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Provide leadership to the architectural team, mentoring junior architects and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and workshops to communicate design intent and address feedback effectively.
- Sustainability and Innovation:
- Integrate sustainable and energy-efficient design principles into the architectural plans, aligning with LEED or other green building standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, applying innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and functionality.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design reports, progress updates, and as-built records.
- Support project handover by providing accurate and detailed architectural documentation to clients and operations teams.
Estimated Salary: ₹1200000 - ₹1500000 per annum, depending on location and experience. We offer a competitive salary package, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
