About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform and Fabric Developer to join our team at ASSA ABLOY. As a key member of our Center of Excellence, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom applications and solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to meet business needs.
  • Create and optimize data models, perform complex data analysis, and develop DAX queries to build robust and scalable solutions.
  • Design and implement interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports in Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.
  • Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance to ensure the reliability and performance of deployed solutions.
  • Take part in proof-of-concept initiatives with the business and suggest solution designs that involve Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Azure services in a hybrid world.
  • Continuously update your knowledge of the Power Platform and related technologies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • Technical expertise in DAX, M language, and SQL, as well as a strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases.
  • Problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex business problems and design efficient solutions.
  • UI/UX design skills, including experience in creating user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces in Power Apps and Power BI.
  • Integration skills, including knowledge of integrating Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications via APIs and connectors.
  • Automation skills, including expertise in automating business processes using Power Automate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working in cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills

The ideal candidate will also bring some of the following skills:

  • A good understanding of the broader Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
  • PowerShell skills.
  • Experience with advanced analytics and machine learning models in Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Passed Power BI exams such as 70-778/9 or PL-300/600.
