Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and support of our Configuration Manager infrastructure. This includes administering, maintaining, and supporting the SCCM/MECM environment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include deploying Windows operating systems using OSD (Operating System Deployment), packaging and distributing software applications and updates, managing Windows patching for servers and endpoints, monitoring system health and troubleshooting client/server SCCM issues, maintaining SCCM collections, queries, boundaries, and distribution points, generating custom reports using SCCM Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI, implementing and managing device compliance policies and settings, collaborating with security and compliance teams for endpoint hardening, and maintaining up-to-date documentation and SOPs for SCCM operations.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Configuration Manager Administrator.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Experience with WSUS, Group Policy, and Active Directory.
  • Solid scripting skills using PowerShell for automation and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Windows client and server environments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-102, MCSA, MCSE).
  • Experience with Intune/Microsoft Endpoint Manager for hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with third-party patch management (e.g., Adobe, Java).
  • Knowledge of application packaging tools like AdminStudio or MSI scripting.
  • Experience in enterprise environments with 1,000+ endpoints.
