Job Overview :

We are seeking skilled Python Backend Developers to contribute to the growth and success of Vikgol. Successful candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend components, APIs, and microservices.

Key Responsibilities :

Our ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Computer Science and hands-on experience with Python development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs using Python.
  • Building and managing microservices architecture.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing existing code and systems to improve performance and scalability.
  • Implementing security measures and performing regular security audits on code and architecture.
  • Managing data storage solutions, including databases and caching systems.

Senior Developer Responsibilities :

For senior-level candidates, we are looking for leaders who can take ownership of large-scale backend projects, ensure timely and quality delivery, and guide junior team members. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading architecture design and decision-making processes for backend systems.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members and mid-level developers.
  • Collaborating with the delivery role to align technical progress with project goals.

Mid-Level Developer Responsibilities :

For mid-level candidates, we are seeking individuals who can contribute to system architecture discussions and take ownership of smaller features or subsystems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to system architecture discussions.
  • Collaborating with senior developers for knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
  • Taking ownership of smaller features or subsystems and delivering them end-to-end.

Delivery Role Responsibilities :

We are seeking a delivery-focused individual who can work closely with the development team and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with clients and managing expectations regarding project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Tracking project progress and ensuring alignment between development goals and delivery schedules.
  • Managing risks and troubleshooting issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications :

We are looking for candidates with a strong academic background in Computer Science, a solid understanding of Python development, and experience with backend systems. Preferred qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Solid experience with relational databases and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  • Experience in building and deploying RESTful APIs and asynchronous services.
