Our organization is seeking a professional with expertise in emerging markets to fill the role of Supply Chain Specialist.

Job Summary

This position involves servicing orders for regional sales teams within a defined customer service framework, ensuring timely issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate demand over the horizon and assign prioritization to demand/orders/customers.
  • Validate demand with purchase orders available, letters of credit required, regulatory clearances, artwork details, SKU codes, inspection license check, manufacturing license check, minimum shelf-life requirement, pre-shipment documents submission to customers and timelines, regulatory confirmation and any other customer-specific requirements.
  • Analyze order status in our systems and gather information on scheduling, material receipt and dispatch schedules.
  • Highlight potential issues that might affect defined timelines and take end-to-end ownership of assigned orders for the region.
  • Drive documentation related to shipments with cross-functional teams and drive shipment planning with logistics teams, mitigating risks and delays proactively to incur no demurrage or penalties on shipments.
  • Attend relevant meetings to obtain data and information on all open orders for the region and their status updates.
Supply Chain Technology and Automation
  • Identify opportunities for implementing IT and automation in order management processes to improve supply chain visibility.
  • Drive the implementation and rollout cycle for all IT and technology automations within supply chain management jointly with IT.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting (VBA macros, Power BI).
  • Good understanding with experience of supply chain essentials, preferably pharmaceuticals.
  • SAP knowledge essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Decision-making ability to prioritize on a dynamic basis.
  • Negotiation skills/conflict resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
