Strategic Director of Investment Innovation

We are seeking a visionary professional to join our investment team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Mumbai, India.

This is a hybrid position that requires working at least three days a week in the office. As part of our Global Portfolio Intelligence team, the successful candidate will play a key role in transforming our investment capabilities globally.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Vision and ambition to scale our India office to be on par with global counterparts
  • Experience leading the development of investment strategies by leveraging cross-domain expertise
  • A strong track record of delivering results and driving hyper growth
  • Excellent leadership and mentorship skills to guide a multidisciplinary investment team
  • A culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • The ability to liaise with senior stakeholders to find creative solutions to complex business problems
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a passion for developing talent and fostering a collaborative culture

Requirements include:

  • 7-10 years of team management experience preferably in asset or wealth management
  • Expertise in investment finance, portfolio theory, and portfolio analytics is non-negotiable
  • A background in portfolio management, construction, and advanced econometrics or statistical modeling
  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence both senior and junior stakeholders
  • A proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and achieving results
  • A proven track record of implementing enterprise-wide business solutions

Salary Estimate: ₹60 lakhs - ₹1 crore per annum.
