The Role:

The Senior Data Scientist is responsible for conducting data science using SAS/SQL/Python and other tools, in support of a variety of analytic solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop analytical frameworks to answer questions and solve business problems.

• Perform exploratory data science to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Hypothesis testing and reporting statistically significant results.

• Create and present data-driven insights to clients and stakeholders, proficient in storytelling from generated insights.

• Project management skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal support.

• Mentor and hand-hold junior team members on technical and problem-solving aspects.

• Apply multiple algorithms or architectures, and recommend the best model with an in-depth description, to evangelize data-driven business decisions.

• Structure hypotheses, build thoughtful analyses, develop underlying data models, and bring clarity to identified problems.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's/master's degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Marketing Analytics.

• 5-8 years of experience in the analytics field, with marketing analytics experience preferred.

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Tableau/Power BI/SAS, with hands-on experience on Data Science projects and developing Predictive/ML models.

• Experience in Databricks environment is a plus.

• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
