Job Title: Head of Data Engineering and Analytics

About the Role:

Talent Destination is seeking an experienced Head of Data Engineering and Analytics to lead and manage our Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Data Scientists team.

As a key member of our organization, you will collaborate closely with other countries' Data & AI Office to strengthen our in-house Data & AI capacities worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines

  • Ensure efficient and reliable working methodologies across the team

  • Act as the main contact for technical inquiries

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with a proven track record in data engineering, data science, or a related field

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing data engineering and analytics teams

  • Experience working in a European, ideally German, company with cross-cultural collaboration skills

  • Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing

  • Advanced programming skills in SQL and Python

  • Expertise with advanced analytics tools and techniques, including machine learning and data visualization

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
