Job Overview
SBM Offshore seeks a Project Engineer to support the Global Project Manager for Integrity and Inspection. This role involves multiple small-scale projects related to Integrity disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to gather necessary information for the Project Manager
- Develop and maintain project organization charts
- Prepare progress reports as required by the Project Manager or Global organization
- Support communication and reporting across internal Project members and external stakeholders
- Assist the Project Manager in macro-planning, analyzing, maintaining, and tracking schedules of activities
- Develop and maintain dashboards for Projects
- Attend meetings on behalf of Integrity Discipline Leads for specific Projects/streams
- Develop and maintain budget control and build for Integrity and Inspection, including SBM man-hours and outside expenditures
- Experience in Project Controls activities, analyzing, reviewing, and maintaining budgets and financial forecasts
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering and 1-2 years of experience in managing projects in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry, preferably with FPSO projects and background in Integrity disciplines
- 2 years of experience in Oil and Gas or related Industry
- Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Planning, and similar tools, PowerBI
- Knowledge of Budgeting control tools and ERP systems
- Strong Reporting and analysis capabilities
