About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Growth Strategist to join our team at JSW Sports Pvt Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives, exploring new markets, and fostering partnerships to achieve long-term success.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong combination of strategic thinking, business acumen, and leadership abilities. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or a similar role, you should be able to see the big picture, make data-driven decisions, and craft long-term strategies for growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • New Business Development:
    • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments for growth, creating innovative IPs.
    • Develop and execute strategies to generate leads, including partnerships, acquisitions, and other business development channels.
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities.
    • Evaluate potential partnerships, exploring and negotiating strategic collaborations to expand our reach and capabilities.
    • Create and manage a robust pipeline for new business opportunities, ensuring consistent growth in revenue and profitability.
  • Strategy Development:
    • Develop and communicate our strategic business development goals, aligning with our organization's overall objectives.
    • Drive the creation and implementation of innovative business models, go-to-market strategies, and value propositions.
    • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the industry.
    • Leverage data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and measure the success of business development initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with our executive team to define and prioritize business development goals and strategies.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment in business development efforts and maximize growth opportunities.
    • Lead the allocation of resources and budgets for business development initiatives, ensuring effective execution.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients to drive new business opportunities.
    • Represent us at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to foster relationships with potential partners and clients.
    • Lead contract negotiations and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and long-term partnerships.
  • Reporting and Metrics:
    • Monitor the performance of business development initiatives, providing regular reports to senior leadership on key outcomes and growth metrics.
    • Ensure that the ROI for all new business efforts is maximized, analyzing costs versus benefits and adjusting strategies accordingly.
    Requirements:
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
    • Industry expertise: Proven understanding of market dynamics, competition, and customer needs.
    • Leadership skills: Strong leadership and management abilities, with experience leading and developing teams.
    • Strategic thinker: Ability to see the big picture, make data-driven decisions, and craft long-term strategies for growth.
    • Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively to senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
    • Negotiation skills: Experience in negotiating large-scale deals and partnerships.
